We are experiencing an unusual winter-like cold front which so far has brought snow, rain, sleet and hail with sun breaks in between! This is extremely worrisome for the fruit farmers of the Columbia River Gorge. At stake are budding and blooming trees which normally would bring a harvest of 300 tons of cherries, apples and pears worth $110 million.

A great shot with a story to tell
Luckily, daffodils are very hardy. I hope the fruit crops are ok. This is a great macro shot!
Very nice picture. I hope all your flowers don't get frozen out!
Greetings from Juneau, Alaska!Merry Christmas!
Sounds like we're not the only ones experiencing crazy weather in April. It feels like spring, summer, and autumn all flew by in less than 24 hours.
Let us know how the crops fair.
