Waking up to no water is NO fun. Dropping three grand down a 250'+ hole isn't either. But new pump, new pipe and plenty of water is good. I can highly recommend Oregon Pump & Equipment. They showed up about an hour after I called. Returned quickly with the boom truck and worked until dark to restore water for us. Mike and his son Jake conduct business honestly, thoroughly, and caringly.

My goodness; what happened to your water? 3 grand is not inexpensive! Glad the company is highly regarded and respected; makes the cost less painful.
That's a lot of money but you have to have water! Glad everything worked out OK.
Oh my - it's not like you can call the water company and have them fixi it.
I must say - your photos are really beautiful!
Our well is over 250 feet deep. A couple of the galvanized pipes rusted out and though the pump was working, no water was getting to the surface. The pump was 27 years old, so we had them replace it, and replace all the galvanized pipe with heavy-duty plastic. Oh, the joys of living out in the country!
Country living at its best, eh? Well, similar expenses happen in the city, too. No fun, but part of life. And think of the stimulus you gave your local economy!
Ouch. Im glad you got everything working again, but that bill must smart. Though, small price to pay for having clean healthy water, where most of our own nation drinks sub par chemical filled water from city reservoirs.
