It was a dark and foggy night

Well, I'm experimenting with taking night shots. This isn't very good, but I liked how it showed the foggy parking lot as we were leaving the grocery.

I think it's really effective.

I'd try that too but I'm afraid to go out after dark.

I am guessing long exposure, high ISO and hand held? Nice shot and difficult to get! Keep practicing and experimenting it is worth it! kc daily photo blog

Great shot, Jill. Our view has been consistently foggy today, with very little visibility early on--now we can see several blocks. We've stayed in, playing cards and/or blogging, a relaxing day. Hope yours has gone well. Thanks for the story about hunting morels with your father. I forwarded it to my sons because I think they'll enjoy reading it.
