Nice photo.. your grass is still very green.. ours is starting to brown.. more from lack of water than cold..
Overall a super photo Jill - isn't the tree a super shape and with such a lovely covering of leaves..
All that geometry is very eyecatching. I especially like the shape of the tree. Do you know what sort it is. The colours are glorious too...

My notes say it is an Ulmus Glabra or Camperdown Elm. At least I think this note goes with this tree. It has a very twisted and knurly limb structure and it gets a blunt haircut now and then.
Stunning -- I love the warm leaves against the cool marble.
