Neat post, Jill. My paternal great-grandfather was a circuit rider preacher in Mississippi, a Methodist as far as I know.

Fascinating sculpture...so life like!
Given that 2009 is the 150th year of Oregon's Statehood I found myself looking up info for my students. This statue was mentioned in church today and I wanted to see it. Great Photo. Incredible amount of history surrounding the subject on the horse, Jason Lee and the donor of it, Robert Booth.
