Secret Garden

This lovely path is in the botanical garden tucked in behind the athletic building on the Willamette University campus. Much of the garden contains plant species native to Oregon. Bordered on the north side by Mill Race, and fairly hidden from view, you probably wouldn't know of it's existence unless you had a reason to be in the area. We took a 'wrong' turn while walking through campus and discovered this delightful place.

The Blog Friends Forever award was given to me by Valeria of Verona Daily Photo. Thank you so much Valeria. I am honored!

And now it is my turn to pass the award onto five other bloggers according to following rules:

1. Only five people are allowed
2. Four have to be dedicated followers of your blog
3. One has to be someone new or recently new to your blog and live in another part of the world
4. You must link back to whoever gave you the award

Some of my blog friends have been recognized already for this award so I have tried not to duplicate. These are my awardees:

Kelowna BC Daily Photo by Peppercorn
Gumbo YaYa by Cindy

Jill, wow I am speachless, thank you ever so much for the award - indeed I am honoured.
Your photography of the path is outstanding, as they are always. It's amazing what a wrong turn will can do. Once my husband was reading the map (upside down) while I was driving. Consequently I was directed onto a wrong turn and in so doing, ultimately avoided an earthquake tremor which was simultanteously taking place on the roadway I should have been on.
Thank you again and enjoy the rest of your day,
Frankie

Hi Jill! Thanks so much for choosing me as a recipient. I will need to do a little thinking on this to choose my awardees. I will certainly link back to you and do my posting in a day or two. Hope you are having a great week and enjoying our gorgeous autumn weather.
Cheers! Cindy
