Galaxy

At the front entrance to the Marion County Courthouse Square is a whimsical wind sculpture, called "Galaxy" created by Andrew Carson (perhaps inspired by Tinguely/Saint Phalle?).

Oh! I wonder if it makes sounds as it moves. I like all the whimsical elements.

It looks like a "busy" sculpture, too, when there is a breeze. I once saw wind sculptures similar to that at an art show - I really wanted one, but they were thousands of dollars.

Oh! I just love that sculpture. One of my favorites. I answered your question about New Orleans on my blog - but just in case you don't see it... here it is:

Yes, we are headed to New Orleans. I can't wait. Haven't been there since a few months before Katrina. I'm so excited to be headed back to the beautiful city that I love so much!
