Oregon State Fair #8

Lots of purple and red at the fair as ladies of the Red Hat Society had their special day. The Red Hat Society celebrated its 10th Birthday this year. This world-wide sisterhood has nearly 40,000 chapters across the U.S. in all 50 states and in more than 25 foreign countries.

What do they do? According to their website -- "Nothing"!

Great photos on your blog.
Did you go to see Willie Nelson, I think he was one of performers @ Oregon State Fair.

Wonderful photo - and a great club, the "Red Hat Society". Love it when I see them out in Salem in all of their red and purple! Too fun!

I was in Halifax a couple of years ago when the Red Hats descended on the city. It was something to behold.

Team Splashi -- No, I didn't make it to see Willie Nelson. A checker at the grocery today said she did and that he still had the voice.

Mulligans 7 Wayne -- they sure stand out in a crowd, especially when there are a group of them. They have a lot of fun with their outfits.
