I love roses and tried growing them here but the lovely hybrids don't do well with the heat & bugs. I do have one that grows on it's own roots and roots well from cuttings and blooms almost all year long. It's just a nice simple rose and all my neighbors and lawn guys have taken cuttings to root. No blackspot, no fungus, no problems. I do love the fancy one, though, and enjoy them when I go north or to Disney.

Wow, I wish he would come take care of mine.
I know it would be a long trip for him but he can tend to my roses as well please!! :)
I guess that's what I should be doing. I have 6 to plant but...but...
I hope to get to mine this weekend.
Nice blog!
A lovely shot. You get the feeling this gentleman really knows what he is doing.
