Faith, Hope, and Love

Today is our 34th wedding anniversary. Some of you may remember that we rang in the New Year in the ER. Subsequent tests brought us the news that my beloved has cancer. We will know more this week when we get the results of a biopsy.

Happy Anniversary.

Cancer is a shock but surprisingly, my wife of 53 years, had endured it twice -- once in each breast -- and she is a survivor. All of the best to you both.

Congratulations to you both. Cancer is so beatable these days - the word tho is scary. I'm looking forward to hearing results of the biopsy. Gosh, they keep you waiting, don't they?

Everything is crossed, Jill. Enjoy today - that's a long time to be married.

Congratulations! You got married the same year I did, but mine only lasted 10 years. I am so sorry to hear about the cancer. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I lovely tribute to your commitment, for better or worse. But like the other commenters say, better testing and better treatments, just in the past decade, give so much hope on top of the love you share.
