Beggar

A back deck beggar, looking at me through the patio door. He is wondering where the cat food went.

Wow, brazen little fellow, isn't he? I also love your theme day photo.

Your last few photos have been top notch and this one is no exception.

They are worth a little food now and then but can become a daily visitor even in daylight and then they get into trouble. I like your photo of this one. We had four young ones born here and the mother for about 5 months before they left.

Great close-up photo. I have thoroughly enjoyed browsing your recent posts. Please, if you have a moment, check out the start of our latest Portland, Oregon, fun, at ELLEA, #1, or Edna, Lucy, and Lynette’s Excellent Adventure, #1.

Great photo, as usual. I posted a close-up photo of a raccoon looking straight into the camera and a photo of a raccoon grooming himself (or herself) sitting down next to a teenager in a bikini on my site on Sept. 9 & 10.

Although people think of raccoons as woodsy animals in places like Oregon, they are right at home in tropical Costa Rica. We see them in our neighborhood most nights, and they will walk right along the sidewalk with us to a nearby resort that puts out food for them in the lobby. They lounge around the resort lobby in the evening like house cats.

If you care to look, you can click on the "animals" subject on the index of my site and scroll back to the raccoon photos on Sept. 9 & 10.

What a cutie! I hope you give him a snack now and then. Not enough to make him a permanent resident, just enough to have him visit.

Oh My Gosh! So adorable. I know that they can be very agressive and mean, but I just LOVE them. So cute!

My word Jill that is a great close up...not sure that I would feel too comfortable with them around me but I suppose you get used to them..
