Stone wall around the State Forestry Office building, erected in 1938 by the WPA.
I love that heart-shaped rock there on the right! A lovely wall with beautiful stonework!
Aww, that's so cute! I can just imagine those muscular stone masons cutting the heart. Big, romantic teddy bears beneath all the hard muscle. :)
A treasure indeed, unfortunately not something that gets constructed these days.
That heart makes the wall so special..although it was erected back in 1938 is there no 'record' in old papers that has the story of the heart - it would be wonderful to know!
The wall is so solid and rugged looking, and that cute little heart is such a surprise element!
What a special heart! That is such a nice addition!
c'est très romantique.
