The Kilt & Thistle Scottish Shoppes retail store with over 2000 different plaids available is in the lower level of the Reed Opera House mall. Here along the sidewalk I found a display of various tartan plaid scarves.

I'm partial to that sky blue and black up on the top row, slightly hidden. You did a good job catching that guy's tattoo as well!
I like plaid. There are some striking patterns here. What's the difference between plaid and tartan? I know I could look it up but I don't want to know THAT bad.
Did you get more shots of the tattooed fellow Jill?
I've got Bad To The Bone on my iPod. I don't know what that says about me.
I would like to visit that store! I don't wear much plaid, but it's so interesting!
Tartan print is very fashionable this winter!
Wow hasn't this made for a great colourful and different photo - love it!
Wayne - I read a couple explanations of the tartan and plaid; all I understood is that a plaid can be a tartan, but it also can just be a plaid pattern.
I didn't see the tattoo until I downloaded the photo. I figured you hawkeyes would see it.
