The Autumn Leaves drift by my window...

The first tree I planted when we moved here from the mid-west was a Sugar Maple. I so love the autumn leaves, but alas, they don't stay on the tree for long.

Who is going to rake up all of those leaves?

It's so funny to see so many autumn leaves on green grass. I have some sort of hybrid maple and the leaves stay on through their color phases and drop when they finally get to the yellow stage.

Lovely photo again Jill.

Our Autumn here in UK is coming on us very fast and the leaves are beginning to drop but I must admit for those of us interested in taking photo's Autumn does give us a great opportunity for some stunning shots..

How beautiful. I forget what an autumn can be like living here. This is just wonderful. I too love those maples which I've seen in Ohio and Rhode Island.
