Oregon State Fair #1 - Among the Quilts

There was lots of interest Sunday among the quilts displayed and hung around the perimeter of the Jackman-Long building, as voting was in progress for the Peoples Choice Award.

Tomorrow, a special photo for Wayne of vancouverbcphoto.blogspot.com.

Thanks for posting that. I always love the quilts on display, and wonder how long it took to make each one. I sent Wayne in Vancouver a picture from our fair, a giant metal eagle sculpture desribed as being eagle #2 for the Golden Ear Bridge? in Vancouver? He told me it's a bridge under construction.

What beautiful quilts....my friend just made me two. One for me and one for my husband on our retirement.

Oh, Jill. Aren't those exquisite! I'll have the green one, and... BTW photo is indeed good with such good detail on the quilts, the angle showing so many, & of course, action too.

These quilts are so beautiful Jill thank goodness I'm not one of the Judges because they would all be winners for me..

Those quilts were SO beautiful. I felt so inferior when I viewed them. I really THOUGHT that was a decent quilt maker. Now, I realize, not so much! Thanks for the great photo! (and for visiting and all of your wonderful comments!) Cindy
