However, in this situation I would say I like the color better. With the B&W things just seem to fade into each other. The lines are better and each item in the photo stands out greater in the color photo. The Mulligan Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14684946371469424044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278815081109076511.post-25892800486753737512008-12-10T11:58:00.000-08:002008-12-10T11:58:00.000-08:00I'm with the color crowd (& I was not infl...I'm with the color crowd (& I was not influenced) and for the same reasons of subtle color & a very classy place.Tashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18098034737961019226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278815081109076511.post-5664523891653876882008-12-09T11:54:00.000-08:002008-12-09T11:54:00.000-08:00I prefer the color version. In my role as authorized critic I can point out that this photo is slightly crooked - not always important but in a photo where symmetry is so exact it should be straight.Benjamin Madisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10557453060872726741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278815081109076511.post-75974923889820934752008-12-09T06:32:00.000-08:002008-12-09T06:32:00.000-08:00Very elegant — I like it!I think the color version...Very elegant — I like it!

I think the color version is better because the lights aren't exactly white. Though if it was the symmetry you wanted to emphasize, the monochrome's better — but you should take another shot without the Christmas lights though. I may not be a photographer, but I was a graphic designer for years! ;)Hildahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03572824685124656116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2278815081109076511.post-60602402136779088912008-12-09T02:17:00.000-08:002008-12-09T02:17:00.000-08:00Thanks JM: I was caught by the symmetry myself. The B&W is the most appealing architecturally.
